Founded in 1975, Leon Barker started LB’s Trailer Sales with one simple goal — to provide reliable trailer options for customers purchasing livestock at small-town auctions and through his horse trading endeavors. What began with just three trailers quickly grew through hard work, reputation, and a commitment to customer service.

Over the years, LB’s explored several avenues of business — including used car sales, mobile home setup services, and even LB’s Wrecker Service — but Leon always came back to what he knew best: trailers.

In 1989, Phillip Barker joined Leon (LB) in the trailer business. Together, they expanded operations to over 600 in-stock trailers, offering customers top-tier selection, service, and competitive pricing.

By 1990, trailers were evolving — but trucks weren’t keeping up. Leon and Phillip recognized a growing need: customers didn’t just want to haul their animals safely — they wanted trucks that performed better and looked better doing it.

From fender flares and racerbacks to custom bumpers and 4WD dually conversions — if you could imagine it, Phillip could build it.

That’s when LB’s Truck Equipment was born.
